In reading a post by Harry Pierson (RSS) on his DevHawk blog I came across this statement where he was talking with the Australian DoD. “We even got into some social aspects. For example, the battlefield leaders of tomorrow are in their teens today, so they are looking at how teens communicate today. They want their battle systems of the future present information optimally for those future leaders. Each generation tends to communicate differently than previous generations.

It looks like people don’t have much to do again, so they decided to test five digital camera memory cards to see how tough they were. “Perhaps surprisingly, all the cards survived these six tests. Most of them did fail to get through two additional tests - being smashed by a sledgehammer and being nailed to a tree. “ Hmmm, I’d like to see any digital media survive being nailed to a tree!

Movie Review: Bourne Supremacy

This weekend my wife and I went to see The Bourne Supremacy. For those of you you who didn’t realize this is the sequel to The Bourne Identity back in 2002. And what I didn’t realize was that it was originally a TV mini series as well. All of these are based on books by Robert Ludlum (which I did know). In the original movie a CIA black ops operation named Treadstone had one of it’s best operatives get amnesia and then fights his way to “freedom” (Jason Bourne).
