Looks like Foundation Server will only ship with a Beta this November with the rest of the Team System suite. The full release is now slated for first quarter of 2006. Check out the Article.

Hmmm, Wow! I’ve been remiss in posting. I owe a couple of posts on a few topics, like the book review of Angels and Demons (which I finished about two weeks ago), a review post on my new Motion LS800, and a post on what sessions I plan on going to at PDC. I’ve been busy with some family matters, getting ready for PDC and building up my new tablet for use.

Looks like the Japanese will be the first people to be selling consumer level “helper” robots. While robots have been around a while now available for consumers, apparently this is the first one to be released with a great degree of communications capacity. The robot is supposed to help “house sit”, take notes, remind of appointments, and can even monitor the health of a sick person (I didn’t look if it had a “probe” attachment).
