I had previously mentioned that I wanted to purchase a LS800 tablet…..well, my willpower is very week (and my wife is very kind) and so I’ve had one now for about three weeks. So far I’m pretty happy with it. I thought I’d provide a nice summation of my thoughts on the device. This is pretty long.
The Tablet
The LS800 is the fourth generation tablet from Motion Computing. The model is the fifth tablet Motion has released, but is in many ways a miniature version of the LE 1600.
Well, I made it to LA. Flew out of Cincinnati airport (CVG) this afternoon and arrived at LAX about an hour later (or so the clock said). I can already tell the 3 hour change is going to throw me for a loop when I get back. I packed a carry one that had my tablet, spare battery, one change of clothes, and an assortment of things I would need if they lost my luggage.
I’m getting excited about heading out to PDC next week. My flight leaves this Sunday from CVG. I have a pre-con session on Monday, then the rest of the sessions I’ve signed up for through-out the week. I’m coming back on next Friday. Should be a blast!
Looks like the weather will be good.
This is the first big convention I’ve gone to that is work related. Any suggestions or tips to get the most out of it?
