The client I’m at uses WebSense Enterprise for internet content filtering. Usually this doens’t impact me at all, but today I got the following blocked content message while attempting to go to www.microsoft.com/downloads: (sorry, for some reason my stylesheet isn’t allowing the image to show up here….scroll to the bottom of the page if you are viewing via web) Now, I’m wondering if this translates to they think Micorosoft is smoking something?
In the year 2000 I was hired by G.A. Sullivan, which has since been absorbed into Avanade. On my first day of work I was presented with the employee manual, some paperwork and a copy of “The Elements of Style, 4th ed. " by Stunk and White. I was told the owner of the company (Greg Sullivan) was a stickler for grammar and spelling in all correspondence (reports, presentations, emails, etc).
According to this CNet article MS will release a Beta 1 of it’s new Office 12. I’m looking forward to this beta mainly because of the new OneNote features. As a PDC attendee I apparently get to be in the Beta, but I also received an actual invitation from MS via my blog contact form to specifically help with the OneNote Beta (thanks guys!).
