Book Review: Revenge of the Sith

The final chapter in the Star Wars saga….or was it the third chapter…DOH! The book Revenge of the Sith , by Matthew Woodring Stover, pretty much follows the movie; however, as usual, many more insights into the internal thoughts and motivations of the characters are shared. A couple of sub plots that had been dropped for the movie are also laid out, such as Padme’s involvement in the beginnings of the rebellion.

Vacation over and project complete

Well, vacation has been over for more than two weeks now. It was a good time. The munchkin did great traveling and the wife had a good time. The Williamsburg area is an excellent place for history buffs. The “must complete” project was completed (even a little a head of time) and is now in User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Hopefully things will go well there, but in the meantime I’m back to working on a project that is VB6 and traditional ASP (yikes….

Vacation?

At work I’ve been given a project that is: “must go out on time”, “hot”, and a half dozen other metaphors for we need to get this done. So, what could I possibly do about this but go on vacation! Yep, five days (three work days) away from the grind. Well, to be honest the project really isn’t that large (though it is that important appearently), so I don’t think there is an issue.
