Well, the upgrade went very smoothly, minus the fact that it took forever to FTP the bits up to my hosted site. CS 2.0 has a LOT of files. I decided against going with the .Net 2.0 version of CS 2.0 and stuck with .Net 1.1. It seemed there were less issues with installation and permissions this way. Besides, CS 3.0 will be the first truly ASP.Net 2.0 version, so I’ll look at switching then.
In preparation for my upgrade to CS 2.0, I have turned off the comments for the blog. The test update run I did over the weekend went well in my test site, so hopefully the same will go for the real deal. I’ll post again when the update is made.
