I was fixing my technorati links yesterday when I noticed that I had been linked to from Geek Noise, Peter Provost’s blog. Peter is a member of the Pattern and Practices team and had put in a link to the entries I had done for the P&P Summit last October. Pretty cool.
I spoke with Peter briefly during the tour he gave of the P&P diggs in Redmond. Nothing memorable for him I’m sure.
I’m planning on starting a semi-regular posting about interesting things in the .Net Framework. My original idea (or at least I thought was original) for the name of the posts was “The .Net Nugget”. Turns out with a quick run through Google that the term Nugget already has a very similiar use over on MSDN with MSDN Nuggets. I’d not heard of this before but it looks really cool. These are short, 5-10 minute webcast on all sorts of developer related material.
Tom Hollander has posted that there is a January EntLib 3.0 CTP now available. The big thing to look at is the Validation Application Block. I need more hours in the day so I can pull this down and look at it in addition to planning the Code Camp, working with CINNUG and just life stuff in general.
