Okay, so when it comes to technology gadgets that I think will improve my life or make things easier I have the willpower of a crack addict (luckily I have a very understanding wife). I broke down and purchased a Sony Reader after deciding that I would hold off on any electronic reader until the industry settled on a format. Well, it looks like if that was the case I would opening my first e-reader at a retirement gift.
In the editorial section of the MSDN Flash newsletter this week I see that Microsoft has put out two new websites that may be of intrest to us .Net type people:
The MSDN Evaluation Center - This is a portal for all developer related product trials and betas. I wonder if this will be somehow linked into the Connect site, or if all that will be brought here to this site.
Congress, in its infinite wisdom, passed a law last year changing the dates for the change over for Daylight Savings Time for the United States. By sheer fact of the number of business relationships between the two neighboring countries, Canada was forced to follow suit. Needless to say this change can cause issues with time operations for applications. Microsoft is attempting to mitigate the issue with some updates to the OS and KB articles around changes to the APIs.
