I keep waiting for this stuff to come out. I think the potential for it is just unbelievable. The ability to have displays that look, feel, and act like paper or fabric just has so many uses. The Wand and Scrolling displays are really cool and what I’m looking forward to the most. In the movie “Red Planet” (bad movie in my opinion, but decent sci-fi tech) they had devices like the scrolling displays PARC is working on.
You know, I’m not really a political person. I’d have to say that this presidential election has been more interesting to me than others in the past; however, it’s things like this that really catch my attention in politics. Basically, Kentucky has a good likelihood of elected a nut job to the senate, or, rather, keeping a nut job in the senate. They have basically set up a debate with Jim Bunning and Daniel Mongiardo which can not be shown live on TV, can not have an audience, and Mongiardo can’t use anything Bunning says against him later.
On Monday night I got to take a quick flight up to Columbus Bolton field. Ben has gotten his pilot license and three of us went to Bolton field to eat at JP’s BBQ place that is at the airport there. Turns out the place was closed when we got there (the hours on their website hadn’t been updated) and so it was a quick flight up and back. We ended up having dinner at Applebee’s in Blue Ash.
