Not bummed with MVC (model view controller pattern), but bummed because I can’t make the CINNUG meeting tonight to see the presentation on it. Don’t you be bummed too….show up.

Just like last year, information for the Patterns and Practices Summit (East) for this year is late. The site currently says: The patterns & practices Summit for the eastern region of the United States takes place in October at a location to be announced in the first quarter of 2005. Hmm, 8 days past the quarter and nothing yet. I guess that’s not too late for Microsoft. :) Last year I think they said it would be posted in April and it turned out to be like really late May or June before anything was posted about dates, etc.

In addition to getting a new camcorder I have also picked up a new digital camera. I’ve had my Sony Cybershot DSC-F505 for about five or six years now. Before that I had a point and shoot Sony digital camera for about two years. The DSC-F505 has been a great camera and has served pretty well. It still takes great pictures (at 2.1 Megapixels) and I used it last summer when I went to Scotland.
